Chicken Alfredo Pasta Bake

Stop what you are doing and add this Crack Chicken Alfredo Bake to your menu. OMG! This pasta is so good. It should come with a warning label! Chicken, bacon, ranch, cheddar, ricotta, mozzarella, and pasta baked in alfredo sauce. Comfort food at its best! We ate this for dinner and fought over the leftovers! It is that good! You must give this a try ASAP!

What does CRACK mean?

If a recipe has “crack” in the title it means that the recipe has cheddar, bacon, and ranch in the ingredients. It all started with my Crack Dip way back in 2007. I made the dip for a Titans football game. Everyone went crazy over it. We couldn’t stop eating it and said it was like crack. The name stuck.

According to the dictionary, the definition of crack is “of superior excellence or ability”. We think the flavor combination of cheddar, bacon, and ranch fits this definition! This recipe is most definitely of superior excellence!

How to Make Crack Chicken Alfredo Bake

This casserole is super easy to make with only a few simple ingredients. Bring a large pot of water to boil over medium-high heat. Cook pasta according to package instructions for al dente. Drain and set aside. In a large bowl, whisk together Alfredo sauce, sour cream, ricotta cheese, ranch dressing mix, egg, and dried parsley. Stir in cooked chopped chicken, cooked bacon, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and cooked pasta. Season with salt and black pepper, if desired. Transfer pasta mixture to a casserole dish. Sprinkle the top of the casserole with more cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Bake uncovered until bubbly. Garnish the cooked casserole with fresh parsley.
